Wow, what a great year it has been for all who participated in the Scrapbook Saturdays at Logan Village Mall! 2010 has only one more Saturday left with another new and exciting technique to be shared! Thank you to the customers who have participated in the program this year!

If you missed out on this fantasic program, consider signing up for 2011! Here's how the program works.... you pay $25.00 for the entire year. Your fee includes a single page 12x12 layout each month - yes, that's 12 pages total! Each month you will get to learn a new technique. You will also have the opportunity to purchase a companion page for only $5.00 more. Techniques we covered last year were paper punches, embossing buttons, tye dying flowers and so much more!

Christmas Gift and Hobby Show

Big news!!!! Our Creative Outlet has hit the road and traveled down to the State Fair Grounds for the Christmas Gift and Hobby show!!! We have loaded up with many new Christmas papers, embellishments and kits. We are in booth 300 which is located almost right in the front door. If you attend the show make sure to come visit us. I think it is open from 10:00 am-9:00 pm Friday- Sunday. I hope to add pictures soon.

We're right in the middle of lots of patriotic events - from Memorial Day weekend to the Fishers Freedom Festival and of course July 4th festivities. Here's a premade layout to help you scrap your photos quickly and easily.

The layout has room for several photos and has a journaling spot to record memories as well. There's one copy hanging on the wall at Logan Village Mall, and it's packaged to grab and go. If ordering by email please request JJ-FREE $7.

June First Saturday Update

Wow, it is time for June's first Saturday!!! Join us this month as we learn a few ways to create accents using pattern paper! Below is the kit we will complete.

Are you new to the first Saturday program? Here's how it works... you can join for the year in which you get 12 single page layouts - one on each of the first Saturday of the month - and the cost is $25.00. Or you can sign up from April-December for $18.50 and get 9 single page layouts. Your other option is to come month to month and pay only $5.00 for the kit you do. Seasonal Solutions Kits: Also on the first Saturday of each month Kristy will release a new Seasonal Solutions kit. Here are two new premade layouts available at Logan Village Mall. It's Your Day works well with celebration photos. The glittery cake is embellished with pearls and rhinestones. There's room for 4 4 x 6 photos and 2 4 x 4 photos. There's even a built-in journaling spot to jot down some details from your special event. One copy is available in the white cabinet with our layouts marked SPRING.

It's Your Day - $12 (Just one copy left!)

The lovely weather has provided lots of opportunities to get outside with the family. Maybe you have photos from walking with Fido or of hiking in a local park. This Meadow layout has spots for 3 4 x 6 photos with room to add more if you choose. The colors are soft and muted, just perfect for spring photos!

This layout comes with a bonus pack of ivory and brown alphabet stickers so you can create your own title and any other words you choose. It also has a journaling spot in the layout bag that you can attach where that works best for you. Two copies of this layout are available in bin #26.

Remember that most of our wall samples of layouts at Logan Village Mall are for sale. First check the rack to see if there is an extra copy for sale. If not, please take the layout you want to purchase out of the page protector on the wall and check for a price tag on the back. You Crack Me Up

Here's a fun and whimsical new layout available at Logan Village Mall. This layout is perfect for photos of coloring eggs, egg hunts or even those precious outtake photos from your Easter photo shoot with the kids all dressed up.

The eggshell is cut from pearlized paper for a little extra sheen. There are also tiny bunny, butterfly and button brads in the corners of the upper left block which can be used for journaling or an extra photo.

First Saturday for April UPDATE

With this weekend falling on Easter, the first Saturday for April will actually be postponed to Saturday, April 10th 10:30-12:30!

How the 1st Saturday program works, you pay $25.00 for the entire year, and each month on the first Saturday you will get a single page layout featuring a fun, new technique! So, for your $25.00 you get 12 single page 12x12 layouts! If you sing up by April 1oth, you will have the opportunity to get the past 3 kits, too! Or if you'd like to sign up for April going forward the fee is $18.50.

Check back for exciting details on layout and technique to be offered.... past techniques were tye dying flowers, faux stitching and embossing buttons.

Easter will be here in 14 days!
Time seems to fly this time of year, It will be spring break next, then summer in no time at all. Don't let the busy-ness stop you from scrapping one of the best seasons of the year - pick up some products now and be ready for the bunny before he gets here!

Take a look at these fun new products going in Our Creative Outlet at Logan Village Mall, on Monday. Pick up one of these layouts and then plan your photos. The baskets, the clothes, shoes, hair, chocolate covered fingers and faces... there are lots of fun things to remember this April!

The double-page layout above is very flexible. In fact, the mats are not attached in the kits, so you can place as many as 6 4x6 photos on this spread if you want.

Butterflies, Girls Scouts and School Layouts

Check out these fun Butterfly border packs from StudioB! They have lots of items in the pack -a pretty scalloped edge border, a torn flower, ribbon, extra butterfly, buttons, and a square of coordinating paper for matting or journaling.

All you Girl Scout moms out there that are selling cookies - I've just re-stocked the rack with new double page layouts (slot #1). These will be perfect to capture cookie delivery, grocery store booth, and maybe even a party to celebrate. They are also flexible enough to use for other Scout events, like bridging or community service.

Next up are some fun school pages, if you've gathered some photos from the year and want to get them put in an album before summer! Look for them in slot #12.

Introducing Studiob.

Hi! If you've been to Our Creative Outlet recently, you'll have noticed there are several wonderful embellishment kits there to help you create your own style scrapbook page. There are vintage kits, beads and buttons, and all kinds of die-cut titles and other shapes. I recently decided to stick a name on mine, and i'm calling them Studiob. Look for the yellow and blue butterfly on the label.

Here are the items from Studiob currently at the booth for sale. You'll find these and more at the booth. Come take a look!

These school packs are great for school portrait pages, posing with your teacher, or any school event you want to put in your scrapbook. All three packs come with a border strip, coordinating patterned paper, ribbon, journaling box, buttons, and some additional embellishements. These are priced at just $3!

Also you'll notice distressed flower kits. In the kit you'll find a large flower, several coordinating smaller flowers, a journaling page, coordinating ribbon and a trendy leaf stick pin. All for only $3.

The layout below was created with room for a title of your choosing in the upper left hand. It would be perfect for friends, daughters, moms, vacation... the possibilities are endless on this one. It's in slot #21 at OCO.

Here's a double page layout for this year's school memories. You've maybe received your school portraits and have them sitting somewhere in your house, still in the envelope. Here's your chance to get it on a page! The second page has plenty of room for special events or friends, and a fun place to write down how busy your child is this year! This layout and 1 copy is available in slot #12 at the booth.

Next is a double page layout for all those Girl Scout's out there. It's cookie selling time and it's a great time to capture all those boxes of cookies, making deliveries, the order form, the cookie booth... if you have a girl scout, you know what i'm talking about! this layout and 1 copy is available in slot #1.

If you like the look of these pages, be sure to check out the embellishment section and pick up some great embellishment packs from Studiob. Then make your own!

The event is to take place at the Logan Village Mall (corner of 9th and Logan on the square in Noblesville). In between 10am and Noon, you will have the opportunity to see the product demonstration and pick up your kit to do for yourself!

You have two ways to sign up:
You may sign up for the year for only $25.00

Or pay month to month for $5.00 each month!

Your kit will include all the supplies to create one 12x12 page. You may have to purchase additional supplies to create the technque at home, or you will have the opportunity to create the technique on site. If you can't make it to the 1st Saturday, I will hold your kit for you until you can pick it up! Or you can choose to ship it for only $5.00.

If the technique involves the use of product, it will be provided, however, tools will not be included in the kit if it is shipped. If there are kits left, I will also have them at my monthly crops, or if you live on the Southside I will offer a local pick up option!

But wait!...Have you gone looking for a page and been disappointed to see that there is no longer a copy in the bin? Well please take the wall sample! I'm serious! A bag should still be in the slot and ready to hold your page. Just ask for the store assistants to help you remove them from the covers on the wall and take the bag from the numbered slot to carry your page. A ladder is nearby for this purpose. Most are made for sale and they get rotated to the table after being on the wall. So why wait, ask for help and take it home the first time.

There's exciting news at our booth in Logan Village Mall! Several new product lines have popped up this fall and are sure to please every level of scrapbooker. First, check out the lovely embellishment tags hanging on a vintage lampshade. Each tag is unique and contains a coordinating assortment of ribbons or trims, flowers, buttons, brads and pins. There are more bagged kits like this in a basket on the table, too, so be sure to look around. They are priced to please and range from $1.25-5.00 depending on the amount of items.

Would you like intricate, handmade embellishments without all the work? Try the Fab Fun Finds! These bagged embellishment sets include delicate tissue paper medallions, enamel charms and flourishes with plenty of sparkle. They are sure to add class to your cards and scrapbook pages. And just look at those clothespins wound with sheer ribbon. Priced at just $.50 they are a steal!

Next are the Croppin' Cutz products. These are precut, embellished scrapbook titles, journal spots and photo mats. Current themes include school, fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, winter and more. Custom cuts are available, too!

Our New Look!

Our Creative Outlet has a new look! Thanks to some elbow grease our items are now displayed in clever bins and baskets, much like an old fashioned general store. Thanks, Shannon, for all your hard work on this! Layouts are still available in the tall rack, sorted by designer number. Just match the number from the layout sample on the wall to the corresponding rack.

Our Creative Outlet offers several lines of patterned paper, many of which are doublesided. We are also offering cardstock and die cut titles for local school districts.

We continue to carry Collage kits of coordinating scrap goodies, One Hit Wonder Kits that include supplies and a sketch, Embellishment kits, premade pages, scrapbook tools and supplies. Here's a new project that was just added to Our Creative Outlet - this Sweet mini album. The album is bracket shaped and is completely ready for your photos. The fresh and fun colors are a breath of spring in some otherwise-gloomy Indiana weather.

Are you interested in card making and want some assistance? Then check out the card packs I just placed at Logan Village Mall. The packs include one sample and enough supplies to make five more cards (unless otherwise noted). Greetings include Birthday, Easter, Hello and a 'Let's Get Together.' You get the joy of making the card while having the inspiration of having a sample to look at, and priced at just $3 or $4 for the pack!!! Or maybe you would rather have the cards made for you, there are plenty of those at the mall, too. Carolyn and several other ladies have several handmade cards with a variety of sentiments - sure to fit any occasion!

As for layouts, I did put out some new layouts! Lots of boy layouts! And a few general layouts. Check out the photos below, all kits are $10.00. All kits include titles, supplies and color instructions to complete the two page layout!

One Hit Wonders!
These kits are put together with Scrapbook Crops in mind. You can take one of these to a crop, and you will have everything you need to make a complete page. These were put together with product I have on hand and can't be reproduced, so thats where the name One Hit Wonder came from. They are each one of a kind and unique.

Each kit comes with
- a sketch designed specifically for the products included in the kit
- card stock and patterned paper
- embellishments
- measurements for cutting if needed

Priced at $5.00 each. That is a steal!!!

Our Creative Outlet has two more new exciting offerings at Logan Village Mall. First up are CREATIVE COLLAGE KITS. These kits are similar to the Embellishment Kits that Celeste posted a few days ago, only these also include coordinated patterned papers and cardstock! Use these kits to create whatever projects you want - several layouts, an altered project or a whole batch of cards. Choose from a variety of colors and themes to suit your needs - we also make custom kits. Email us for more details. Creative Collage kits will range in price from $3-5.

Also new at Our Creative Outlet is our TOOLS OF THE TRADE area. Customers have been asking for basic scrapbooking tools such as scissors, adhesive and blank mini albums. We hear you! These kits will be offered in color and theme packages and will be reasonably priced in the $2-3 range (depending on contents). These kits will contain a combination of different items including ribbon, flowers, jewels, buttons, chipboard, journal tags, brads, and more. Each kit is unique and one of a kind. We finally got some snow! For those of you with kids who have been standing at the window, hoping for a chance of snow, last week was finally it. If you captured some great photos, this layout will work well for you. It has plenty of room for photos and a journaling spot to write down all the details you want to remember.

With a New Year about to begin, it's meaning is so much more than just a new year! It gives us the opportunity to cherish another round of seasons, with Spring being the next one, another set of holidays, another chance to grow ourselves! I always look at the New Years as a time to start with a clean slate! A way to begin new adventures! And of course a time to set some scrappers resolutions - things I personally want to accomplish!
